Congratulations on completing this important survey! Years of activism, followed by recent popular culture, has mainstreamed the conversation around menstrual taboos. While this is leading to a rise in the use of commercial sanitary pads, the stigma around menstrual health and sexual and reproductive health and rights continues to thrive. Close to 23 million girls in India drop out of school every year due to a lack of proper sanitation facilities. There is a pressing need to shift the narrative and bring a bigger focus on how a lack of access to sexual and reproductive health and rights affects diverse spheres of life. The result of this survey will help inform research efforts around sexual and reproductive health and rights. Thank you for sharing your responses and being a part of this critical survey.
